Absolute steal if you got it for 3 grand, which I dont believe considering its a 5 grand bike.

Mate, I dont know who you are, but the OP asked for $3k bikes and that is what I paid for mine from Bikeforce Docklands, cost me $100 to get it delivered to Tasmania. They were advertising on bike exchange. If you cant contribute to the OPs question, keep your comments to yourself!!!!!!!danny the boy wrote:Nads wrote:Bought a 2012 BMC SL01 with Ultegra Di2 before xmas from Docklands Bikeforce in Melbourne, very impressed at the price and quality

Just relax a bit, I dont think anything I posted deserved that response. Well done, as I said, absolute steal as any normal person would agree. Can help but notice there is none advertised anywhere near that price now.

Oi! No, not the Toyota's (LOVE my Toyota's) I prefer to refer to Giants as the Hyundai of the Cycling world.Farmer Elvis wrote:IMO Giants are the Toyotas of the bicycle world, they offer excellent quality with great service will go as fast as your legs allow, they just aren't a Ferrari so you don't pay the extra $$$

Hyundai, thinner steel more gimmicks to pull you in! 5yr warranty, wouldn't buy with out it.
Anyway BMC,,,, GOOD buying sir, I know who i'm going to try shopping with when I forget my bike is in the roof rack and the garage door opens invintingly to welcome me from the rain. It will happen, bound too.
Has the OP bought anything yet?

Funny i'd prefer the Giant anyway I mean Hyundai That was a Nice Hyundai that won a stage of the sun tour:) How many Ferrari's were beaten by the old slow Hyundia :)danny the boy wrote:Nads wrote:Mate, I dont know who you are, but the OP asked for $3k bikes and that is what I paid for mine from Bikeforce Docklands, cost me $100 to get it delivered to Tasmania. This is not a threadhijack....
@stinahambo, have you seen the recent reduction on the Scott Foil 40 at Avanti... I am so scared the GLW will see it!

Yeah I did see them! My LBS stopped selling Scott as they were being asked to take Avanti and Jamis too and it doesn't fit in with their bike range (BMC, Bianci, Stevens).Wakatuki wrote:

I'd second this. Very happy with my no-name carbon frame + sram red from cyclingexpress, under $2500. Instant massive performance increase (from a shimano 105 kitted out alloy frame mind you)connico wrote:If you're not a brand snob then there are plenty full carbon bikes out there under the 3k mark that offer carbon + excellent drive trains, wheels etc

Hyundai? Right, clearly you're informed. Perhaps check some facts before you slate a frame that is/has/will win on tourPuffy wrote:Oi!
