Re: Climbing and all around wheelsFulcrum Zero, Great wheel.
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsCurrently I have DA7900 C24 on my other bike. I like the new C24 but a few friends told me fulcrum zero are great.
How are C35 for climbing anyway?I always wanted to get C35 for a while but my accountant never agreed on the price
Re: Climbing and all around wheels
You won't beat the C24 for climbing since the rims weigh just 380 grams so less rotational weight. The C35 have heavier rims but are more aero due to the deeper rim.
Re: Climbing and all around wheels
The C35 clinchers are not areola enough to outweigh the weight cost better off getting the C50s James

Re: Climbing and all around wheels
The OP was asking about a climbing/all round wheelsets and included the C24 and C35 as choices. No mention of the C50, which in any case is quite heavy to be a climbing wheelset.

Re: Climbing and all around wheelsI'm a bit of a climber and bought a set of Core Carbon 38's a couple of months ago. Less than 1,300 grams and under $1,400. My Strava times have dropped dramatically
I also had a crash at ~45 kph when I went into a road grill and they survived with only a slight out of alignment.
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsI've narrowed it down to 9000 C24 and fulcrum zero dark label.
I really like the 9000 QRs they look cool. Fulcrum look more bling and they're black (matches my bike) Now i just need an approval from the boss lol
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsA mate of mine has the Dark Label Zero and they look cool in the flesh!

Re: Climbing and all around wheelsDo 2:1 spoke ratio on fulcrum really matter?
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsThe 9000 C24's are $760 now from cycling express.
Anyone with real world experience, flexy? I'm tempted but at 85kgs on a 16/20 spoke count doesn't inspire confidence. I started way back on some R550's and they went like nooddles after a while.
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsBought Fulcrum Zero at the end. $818 shipped from bike-discount.de
Re: Climbing and all around wheelsI am sure Greg Ryan from TWE could make you a nice set of wheels, he did for me
