That looks like a very upright position for a Madone. Is that due to the size of the frame?Starfesh wrote:Decided to update / upgrade from my Cell S2200...

Praise be to Fred. That's TWO TT bike designs on the planet that aren't totally nauseating to look atg_dorazio wrote:

The frame is a 58, although it does seam smaller than that, but I believe that is due to the H2 fit.stinhambo wrote:That looks like a very upright position for a Madone. Is that due to the size of the frame?Starfesh wrote:Decided to update / upgrade from my Cell S2200...

What do you think of the new brake placement? Can you tell a difference over normal?Starfesh wrote:The frame is a 58, although it does seam smaller than that, but I believe that is due to the H2 fit.stinhambo wrote:That looks like a very upright position for a Madone. The brakes have great stopping power. They can be loosened to pop the rear wheel from the front stem.Mugglechops wrote: What do you think of the new brake placement? Can you tell a difference over normal?
It seams that Trek have thought about alot.

It's a true shame that the same can't be said about the speed concept. Super fast and clean, but the world's biggest ballache to wrench...the new madones with the H1 geo have got me thinking though, particularly with the reports of decent brakes...Starfesh wrote:The brakes have great stopping power. We have a social ride tomorrow at 6.30am from the front of the hospital. It's also training for the Cardiac Challenge.
Sorry for the hijack!

My new 2013 Giant Defy. A spare tube and fold-able tyre hide under the seat so I can replace and fix later. 90kms in and the standard tyre blew-out, hopefully these gatorskins will do the trick.
