Yippee! Proof cycling is good for one's health
Postby ILMB » Mon Dec 24, 2012 12:02 am
Doc phoned on Saturday. Friday blood test returned a bad cholestrol reading of only 3.9! (only .4 outside good range), and the good reading is also significantly up. Will get detailed results next face-to-face visit.
Only significant life-style change has been the bike for the last 10 months.
I am over the moon. If ever there was proof that bike riding is good! I am totally convinced that my bike is good for me.

Now you need to find out what the medication would cost for a year to bring down your cholesterol to that level and take that amount directly to your LBS singing "I wish me a merry christmas" and treat yourself to a nice upgrade

I can confirm this as well. I've lost 20 kg this year after deciding I was getting fat and lazy. Only difference was cycling and being a bit careful with what I eat.

"The frogs"? I thought we'd bypassed racial slurs years ago.

Anyway, it's butter and they cook far better than anyone north of them.

Hey, I like the frogs and their cooking!
It's far better than that of the poms or the yanks.
