For all those in P-Town that are too poor, or aint hip enough to make it to Melburn Roobaix :D

Nah... Looks like fun. Might see if any of the mates are up for it.

I can assure you, you WILL have moments of joy and sheer exasperation.
I thought I knew Perth back lanes by bike, well I found plenty more by scouting this ride.
The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.

I'm fairly lost north of the river, so I will no doubt learn stuff :D

I was just about to register until I read this.

Terms and conditions of entry

4. I consent to the publication and or use in any form of media whatsoever of my name, image, voice, statements or otherwise, before, during or after the event whether for advertising. promotion or otherwise, without payment or compensation.

This is far too open ended so I'll pass.

Does it conflict with your lucrative modelling contract?

My guess would be to be able to film and share the event and avoid nit pickers and privacy hassles.

The flip side to making it easier for them, you can make it easier for yourself, and not use your sensitive identity, have an alternate or abbreviated one.

Celebrities do it along with red baseball caps and sunglasses coupled with an assumed identity.

You probably knew it from your http://thefixfixfix.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; modelling days anyway and were just stirring

edit: PS reminded me of this lecture now famous "don't talk to the police"

I have nowt to hide and I suspect my chiselled good looks may be more of a liability than an asset for next year's marketing - see you there :D

Car rallys of the same ilk were all the rage around 1970 give or take. Mostly done to raise funds for charities or clubs.

This as about the only ride that is as suited to me as it is to an average cyclist. Unfortunately I will be on a plane half way back to Perth when it is happening. However, I WILL be watching for it next year.

And I may try and plug it to a couple of unicycle mates.

Looks like a hoot. Pity BNSW can't be this imaginative, but then we'd all fall down from shock of they were

If it's like the Melburn Roobaix, it'll be very social, and huge fun. One of the local microbreweries was dispensing product from a Danish cargo bike, people were in costume, etc.
