Yeah. But give 'em a good wipe first. Either that or upgrade your computer screen.Wal42 wrote:Cinelli, they look like Gipiemme ones to me. Maybe I need to put my glasses on?

Or maybe put a router through the bar clamp to open it up to 26.0 or 26.4? I've done this myself a couple of times.
From the zig-zag marks it looks like he should have taken a bit more out
Cheers

Cheers for link, I'm making enquiries. Always wanted a lo-pro, bit out of my price bracket though.

Stow that sniper tool, i've found the ad for this particular bike before looking at this thread and passed the details on to a mate that is looking to get back onto a roadbike after a 20 year hiatus (he's been trundling along on a heavy steel dualie mtb while his kids have been growing up for the last 10 years) who is keen to get out to do some big road rides with me on something halfway decent. He's finding that riding 50+km on a clunky 17kg mtb with dirt tyres is a little exhausting...grantw wrote:Touring Bike?!! Cough splutter!.?!Wal42 wrote: Nice but I don't need another touring bike
That is a ripsnorting audax bike, early 80s Zeus bling, and so clean. Carry a front bag with that fork trail and add mudguards to boot and climb like a zephyr. If he was shipping I'd never have mentioned it here
Though if someone in Brisbane was happy to collect and send south to moi (for appropriate recompense including any future favours I might be able to provide re translocation of bike bits from the greater Sydney area), I'd be loading my sniper tool, putting the roubaix at the back of the shed, ordering a decaleur and rolling out the welcome mat!

This is an ad for an eBay listing. They are not even encouraged in the marketplace forum. If you read this thread a little you'd see it has different foci.HLC wrote:First Gen Campag Shamal's

No stress (I don't use a snipe program, I actually sit there & bid then watch the auction until it finishes), I was only going after it because I had a sudden urge to begin yet another different project, but with the arrival of the Razesa frame & the purchase of a Benotto 2500 frame from the UK, not sure that I really want to do the project I was thinking about.

This is just silly. This thread is full of ebay listings where people think there is good buying to be had. All of these also do not conform to the original focus of this thread.wqlava1 wrote:This is an ad for an eBay listing. They are not even encouraged in the marketplace forum. From the first post in this thread. HLC could have stated that they are his wheels, but I still don't see what the big problem is.cray- wrote:If not, now might be a good time to have that garage clean-up and sell off a few things.

As someone who likes his Brooks B17 Imperial, I wonder who this saddle would fit.... I just can't visualise the satisfied customer. And how did it wear to this condition?

Apparently Super slack angles?? Could you actually ride it with that seat
Cost $800 4 years ago…You've been had!….$250 got to be kidding
And the selling point is….Titanium Lock..FUGLY would be polite
Cost plus…. fines from the Fuzz unless you ride it on private property
Huh???…some one tell them they are Dreaming…..
Probably a 1988 Repco Victory Tria for those in Vic
