.. that what I represent isn't the worst of competitive, professional sport. No, Oprah, what I represent is success in all its gritty, guttural glory. I represent the sacrifice winners are willing to make; to risk death and humiliation by taking the drugs that make us great. And if emotive alliteration can't sway people to see me as just like themselves, but with $100,000,000 and not so miserably ordinary, then living vicariously through sports heroes is sadly lost to us. And that makes me sad. (sniff) I'm sorry, Oprah, for being so emotional, but I've given hope to so many. I personally BEAT cancer. God had a plan for me. Could I turn my back on Him? He called on me to win. I did His work.
