Back to cycling to commute

Postby leojvs » Fri Jan 18, 2013 3:49 pm

I jumped on the bike yesterday to to my first commute in a long time.
I actually drive half way and cycle the rest. It works out to be a 50km round trip which is nice.

I plan on doing this twice a week, then stepping up to three times a week in a few weeks.

I take in the M7 starting at Elizabeth Drive, then exit for a short jaunt down the M5, exiting at Moorebank Ave, then on to work from there. The route home is much the same, but I get on at the start of the M7 at CVW.

One of the guys told me to download Strava before I left yesterday, so I did. Works nicely.

It feels great to be back on the bike going to work!
oohhhh shiny new bike parts : -)

Well done mate! I just got back on after almost 3 months of sure to knee surgery and I feel great for it.

I'd love to be able to use the M7.
