2009 Black 20" Giant Alias mountain bike with vittorio randonneur tyres, bar ends and topeak babyseat rack stolen on 18th January from bike rack next to lift on Chalmers St, Central Station (near cnr Eddy Ave, Surry Hills). DO NOT RISK YOUR BIKE!
Stolen between 7:30am and 7:00pm in a busy public place. Cable cut. Should have got a pricey U lock. Shoulda paid for an extra kids ticket and taken with me on the train (what a rip off!) . Shoulda shoulda shoulda.... sob.
First time I left it for any decent amount of time in the street. Any info, call Victor 0421397018.
Bought it with Rudd's bonus $ so easy come easy go I s'pose.
I need a new bike.

Hi Vichar,
maybe it is cold comfort, but last night my bike was stolen exactly at this place too (with a cable lock).
The place looks very suspicious with 2 shiny bikes standing there already. I think it is arranged like that to appear as a more safe and used place. But in fact it is not!
I will place some warnings there.
At least my front breaks and lights did not work anymore (just happened on that eve) so the thief will need 'good luck' with the bike.
sending my compassion,
best Beta
