I feel like I'd be ratting him out. Let's just say he was attending a lot of kids parties.

Yeh on a mountain bike

There are some dirt roads that interconnect. It's unclear if the roads are public or private. Also what the state of them is

Contact the 6 foot track heritage trust for up to date info... details are here... IIRC you can only ride certain sections.

Can I ride my mountain bike (MTB) on the Track?

MTBs are allowed between Jenolan Caves Road and the Coxs River Camp Ground, no restrictions and between the Coxs River Camp Ground and the Megalong Valley Road on a trial basis only.

MTBs are not allowed from Katoomba (start) to Megalong Valley Road, from Jenolan Caves Road to the Jenolan Caves or on the access track that links the Coxs River Camp Ground to the Swing Bridge on the western side of the Coxs River.

And I checked out if you can get from Megalong valley to narrowneck. It has been done, but you need to haul your bike up a cliff with a rope. There's a staircase or ladder for yourself.

That's a generous description of it, but it's not too bad if you know what you're getting in for. ;)

Meh. It's chains and spikes. Not for your grannie, but anyone adventurous enough to MTB the six foot track could do them easy. They send hundreds of people down it during events like the wild endurance 100. I wouldn't want to haul a bike up tho. That'd be a pita.
