Riding home, but it beats the alternative of staying at work

Well, yeah, of course.

I'm really hoping it'll cool off by the time I'm home around 4:30pm. I don't commute by bike, but I do like to ride every afternoon for a couple of hours.

Southerly cool change will come around 8pm, with a storm. Not sure you'd want to be out then.

Luckily (kind-of) I'm at work until 6pm, so hopefully it will have cooled down by then.
Added to the heat is a 14-30km/h headwind for my ride home.
Noice.
Maybe the train will be a better option.
Kev.

But the fluid reserves are good and I will just potter along. At least a westerly is a tailwind on the way home.

Temp topped out at 46.4 degrees for me at North Ryde, then cooled off to 42.5 degrees

I had two frozen solid bottles of water when I started at Nth Sydney. Both were melted by the time I reached Lane Cove a whole 10min later!
Pool at home was an icy cold 31 degrees

Thread title is on weather _this morning_!

Seriously though, the rain and wind has died down very quickly, actually rideable now.
