Probably cheaper and easier to get a bike that is already designed for it. There are such, but most are sold out of Europe and will cost $$$$.

A Di2 (electronic shifting) Alfine is much more problematic, although apparently it is possible, at least if you have access to a machine shop.

Yes straight fit, 3 spline, fits on as you would with a normal chained sprocket.
