Shifter Shimano SL-R770 flat bar 20 sp.
Postby rivettchris » Sat Jan 26, 2013 8:31 pm
I have Shifters Shimano SL-R770 flat bar 20 sp on my current bars but want new bars. Can someone tell me if a new bar needs to be 25.4 or 26mm for these to fit. Thanks

So..... You should he more concerned with the handle diameter than the clamp diameter of the bars. I can't give you an crisp answer but most flat bars should fit. The fat section on oversized drop bars sometimes required the larger clamp size but is mostly required for crosstop levers. I am not familiar with those shifters. Does there appear to be a spacer under the clamp at present?
