The 235km loop course can be compared to a Tour de France mountain stage, with 3 major climbs: Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek, via Omeo.
Not just one to tick off the bucket list, the SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge is a yearly test for all cyclists.
Time is a key element of the event, as cyclists have to complete the course within a 13 hour time limit to claim the coveted title of ‘Finisher’ and the jersey that comes along with it.
What: SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge
When: Sunday 10 March 2013
Where: Start & Finish at Falls Creek, Victoria
Why: Bicycle Network Victoria’s ultimate one day ride provides cyclists with a ‘European Style’ road cycling event.
Who: Over 1,000 Australian and International cyclists
How: A fully supported 235km loop of road cycling, with three major climbs – Tawonga Gap, Mt Hotham, Falls
Entries are open until 15 February 2013. For more information, or to enter visit 3peakschallenge.com.au

Although great strides have been made with repairs to the road up Mt Hotham, we have determined that this route will not be fit for use during the SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge.
Therefore the decision has been made to adopt the alternative route via Mt Buffalo—that we mentioned to you as an option earlier this month.
