Should add in the little sprint up Clear Mountain to see what's left in the legs on that 20 degree climb

That was fun going through the mud, just not looking forward to cleaning off the muck!
Haha, indeed. I went through the mud just after the pathway was first reopened on the roadie and then spent 10-15 minutes just clearing the brakes a couple hundred metres up the path. It got to the point where I considered dipping it in Kedron Brook because none of the taps worked

I like doing laps around Coottha, there is a couple of pinches on the way round to try and smash out, and I love the front descent...not that keen on the back descent, and I do well on descents generally...have have one QOM up there!!!

The January weather has been really bad here by the looks of it.
I just got back from 9 days in NZ so i missed some of it.
I got up to go for a ride this morning and as if on cue it started to rain.
I don't mind riding in light rain but i dont like cleaning mud off my bike so i think i will walk the dog instead.
Anyhow here are some images of the weather South island NZ las weekend. ( Queenstown/Lake Wakatipu areas)

Did anyone else get dumped on this morning, or did that little black rain cloud just follow me from bowen hills to gardens point?

I got wet on the way home as I left coffee (AT) Southbank around 7, wouldn't call it getting dumped on but.

That's the problem with you long haired Uni bludging types, always smoking that weed stuff, there ought to be a law against that type of anti-social behavior. This sort of thing didn't happen when I was young, we had more respect.......blah.........blah.............blah................blah.................blah..................blah

What's with all this wind in the past few days ?
B. nuisance on the bike - you crest a hill and have to change down, or in one instance this morning had to change into the big ring going up a hill with the wind behind.
The temps may be more reasonable, but the humidity is still too high !

Gee, sounds like you were lucky, I never get it behind always a stinking headwind. Thinking of starting a wind farm it's been windy for so long.

Cheers
