Ms 3 star tandem
Postby stevendavid75 » Sat Feb 02, 2013 2:03 pm
While out riding today noticed a old tandem frame on the back of a ute out front of vintage shop. Upon closer inspection noticed the 3 stars and ... Cinelli bar and stem with badge ... Made some enquiries and picked it up for a bargain I suspect. Have had. Quick look on net for such a thing And have t found much at all.
Am yet to get the thing in my hands so don't have serial numbers and other details. It stay tuned.
Cheers

Not sure about it being track ... Doesn't have track drops at rear end ...
Either way a fun project !

Might just hang the Malvern star mongrel II on the wall in the shed and have a good chuckle from time to time

If it's a genuine factory tandem & a real dunger, I've been looking for a tandy frame, total rebuild isn't an issue.

I have no idea what it actually is (was?) but it is sort of tandem shaped.

stevendavid, this originally sounded like you might have made a good score with a 3 star, cinelli bars and stem etc. Looking forward to seeing the pics of how bad it actually is

but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.

Most of the tubes are parallel, for starters!

Still the bars, stem and chainsets are all good stuff by the look of them and worth the purchase.
Cheers
