Nothing wrong with the bike, but if you have your stem/handlebars set up like that ....ILMB wrote:Don't be so cruel!
I have a Koga Miyata and it's the BEST bike for hilly urban transport with heavy grocery etc loads.

I do have the butterfly handle bars, albeit more horizontal, and that's part of what's great about the ride. Initially my reaction was like yours, but I now prefer them to any other handlle bars beacuse of the infinite hand positions. Only problem is I don't know how to attach a mirror without compromising the handle bar's functionality...Aushiker wrote:Nothing wrong with the bike, but if you have your stem/handlebars set up like that ....ILMB wrote:Don't be so cruel!

In keeping with the theme of the bike you could just bolt a truck mirror on the side of the fork..........(lots of sarcasm intended & yes I am a wanna-be lycra racer boy mamil)ILMB wrote:Do you have a link? Perhaps I am overly cynical, but I thought munga was gently teasing you - eg bikesnob says "The helmet mirror is perhaps one of the dorkiest cycling accessories, second only to the reflective vest". As for a helmet mirror, would you preferILMB wrote:Do you have a link? How does a helmet mirror work? Thanks
