Nice ride report Grant.

Still got some footage to go through and clips to put up but here's a short one of Grant arriving at Cambewarra Lookout

If I had known the camera was running I could have fallen off or something to heighten the drama :)

Finally snuck over the 1k mark this morning, yay! Took an extra week with weather and bike dramas, but hopefully I can keep it going and smash the 6k goal for the year.

Picked up a swag of PBs on strava this morning too, which is always nice. I've been group riding and riverlooping for over a year now and have picked up about 5km/h in that time, whilst dropping probably 15kgs. Don't get cramps on the long rides so much now either! 10 more kgs this year and maybe I can get my avg up a bit faster again.

At this rate you will smash your target by June & can have the rest of the year off :D

yeah, well my winter months last year looked pretty pathetic. Need to get well ahead of the curve before the "cold" comes. I've got a 7-day charity ride planned thru work in Sept, so that will be a rapid fire 1k added!

Nice one roller. Now that's what I call a condensed ride report!

Food looks excellent ;-)

First ride today in 2 weeks after a chest infection. The cough was horrible and I had to get on antibiotics to shake it. Take care, they are expecting some awful flus this year.

Maybe having manflu (runny nose while riding) throughout the year keeps the nasty bugs away?

Was good to be out on the bike. Elbow is a bit swollen but not painful.

Keen to get out again tomorrow too.

Cracked the first Metric Ton of the year last Sunday and every one of those Km has been fun - yes, I'm a glutton for punishment!

I'm hoping to knock at least 3k Km over by the end of April - we'll see.

cheers

Had a nice ride this morning. The wind was blowing in the right direction and so I had a crack on a few Strava segements. Managed to nab 7 trophies including 2 podiums and a KOM. I think it would have been 3 KOM’s if it was not for some cars pulling in front of me at the wrong time. There’s always next time.

Great morning for a ride, intercepted a mate coming south from Sydney at Helensburgh and then ran back to the gong for a coffee and second breakfast by the beach before heading home with February's kilometers in the bank. Not a long ride by any means, but a lovely morning to be out tapping away, enjoying the sights.
