Need Help With Ultegra DI2 Adjusting

Hello,

I have noticed on my new merida DI2 that when I go down the gears the chain appears to be jumping especially the lower Cogs.

I have watched video's and some may and may not work.

Does anyone on this forum who owns a DI2 advise on a proven way to correctly adjust the RD

I do want to learn to do it myself

I'd advise you to count (or write down) the number of times you press the buttons to adjust up or down, that way you can always reverse if you find you have made alignment worse and have an initial reference point.

My week old UDi2 has just started doing this, why?
How often is it likely to happen again?

Hi,
I have done over 4000kms with mine and it's never done it.
Might just need a proper first tune up and adjustment etc. I have tuned mine once since I have had it and I was going to do it again today (to wet though) as I am getting a very small annoying chain noise, so hopping a tune will get rid of it.

My first though would be the rear derailiur hanger. Di2 setups push the hanger around quite bit and push it out of alignment. Need a stiffer hanger

I typed Ultegra di2 tune into youtube. Watched the video and tuned front and rear. All up took under 5 minutes. No problems since.
