Unicyclists are NOT social animals.

Currently 365 valid responses - and 60 are incomplete which actually means they will be treated as invalid.
If you know you have an incomplete/invalid response and did not use the option in the survey to save (and return later), you can restart the survey and completely.
Obviously we don't want duplicate entries so no need (and please don't) complete it more than once - instead, tell your cycling buddies.

We have fulfilled the quota, a nice number as a substantial basis to see what is happening.
Thank you everyone who has completed and who has shared this, a number of people have mentioned that they have shared the survey with friends and cycling groups which is fantastic.

Seemed well constructed and likely to produce some useful insights.
Only problem I had was that after answering that I hadn't had any problems with my online purchases I was forced to answer whether the problems I hadn't had were resolved to my satisfaction. No, they weren't resolved to my satisfaction because I didn't have any problems to resolve ? Or yes they were resolved because I didn't have any problems to resolve ?
Umm... the answer is probably a pineapple, but that wasn't an option.

It is all in the wording and the challenge and task on this side what to try and make the questions clear but also exact so there are no double meanings or influencing responses.
Appreciate the feedback.

A great results, CyclingTipsBlog helped with a small announcement to attract about 150 extra participants.
My question for participants - of all the questions asked, which one or ones in particular would you love to find out the a resulst for, which are the highlight questions/results?

I forget...was there one about MHL? Only half kidding...AUbicycles wrote:An update - there are 720 valid responses. (about 120 invalid which means incomplete so will be discarded).

Thank you kindly to all who have participated, first step is to read the answers and choose the best ones as prize winners - then it is into the numbers to find the most interesting trends and share these.

Re: 2013 BNA Ultimate Cyclist Survey - Winners Announced
Postby AUbicycles » Thu Mar 07, 2013 1:47 pm
The winners have been announced on BNA - and also below.
For a chance to win, participants were asked:
If you had 1 week, a bike of your choice and unlimited budget, tell us in 25 words or less what would you do?
Most people wanted to go to Europe, The Tour de France was the popular choice though we also saw people dreaming on tours in Asia, cycling and MTBing in New Zealand and of course bike trips in Australia. It was often about the journey and not the bike. Some suggested charitable ideas and there were a few suggestions to encourage the politicians to acknowledge cycling.
Winner of the Swiss Side Heidi Wheelset
“CLIMB ALL THE MOUNTAINS! 7 days, 7 continents. European alps, rockies, snowy mountains, Kilimanjaro, himalayan foothills, andes and Antarctica too!” – George Peppou
Winners of the Euride 2 X Catlike Kompact Pro helmets from Euride
“Attempt to break the 7 day record for my age group.” – Darryl Hiron
“Ride from Newcastle back to my parents place in Brisbane to catch up with them, because I miss them” – Jonathan Maggacis
Winner of the $100 Cell Bikes Gift Voucher
“I’d pack our spacesuits and take my Bike Friday Tandem and my lovely wife for a spin around the Sea Of Tranquility.” – Adrian Plaskitt
Winners of the 4 X $50 Cycling Express Gift Vouchers
“I already have most of the parts of the question”I’m Retired” so I would like an electric bicycle for 1 week.” – Mike Stringfellow
“Specialised McLaren, riding to FNQ meeting up with family in various stages to enjoy wife, kids, Australia, and the most expensive bike in the world.” – Juan Gonzaga
“I would buy a bike for every person in Australia who wanted one, which would fix traffic, health and bolster the economy. Then, nap.” – Lincoln Yeo
“It would take me all week to climb Alpe d’Huez ” – Peter Roche
Thank you very much to our prize sponsors Swiss Side, Euride, Cell Bikes and Cycling Express. I will be in contact with each winner.
