Michelin Pro Race Tyre Wear
Postby roadfreak » Fri Jun 20, 2008 2:20 am
Hi all,
Just picked up my first road bike over the weekend and have been on a couple of rides already and am loving it
My bike has Michelin Pro Race tyres and I've looked on the net and they don't seem to have wear indicators.
In this case, how do you tell when you need to change them over?
Cheers.

Almost certainly they'll be cut to shreds long before reaching the point of 'worn out', IME.

If the R-1 rule is broken, what happens to N+1?

The "black" Pro Race 3's are on special at PBK for something like $34 until Monday.wayno wrote:I was thinking the same thing. I have the light grey ones, so when that part wears off, or gets close to, its time for Pro 3's
I order a pair yesterday, along with some other goodies.

I've ony got about ~500km on mine (25c). I've had a few flats, but some were from shoddy patching
