Most can lose that with 3-4 weeks of dieting.
It amazes me people go through the operation, rather than eat appropriately for a month.

but dura ace saves what like 500g over sora?
i figured if i were to pay for dura ace to save a measly 500g then i might as well get lipo and save more weight for almost the same price

Sweet Jesus, if you were joking around, then well played. I laughed. If you aren't joking, book in the psychologist ASAP. You can't operate your way to fat loss... Dura Ace will definitely be around longer than the operation.ohexploitable wrote:177cm, 65kg

Without seeing a pic, IMHO you don't need to lose weight...ohexploitable wrote:well i'm already pretty fit and have little body fat (like 5-10% body fat)

There's also the ego benefit of DIY not having someone else taking weight off you...
Not to mention the performance benefit of pretty much any groupsan over Sora...
Finally, as mentioned previously, the only scarring DA will leave you with is if you muff the crankset instal.

You could get really fat knees.
And that would disguise your nicely toned VMOs.
Or - you could just take a credit card and buy a banana at your destination instead of riding around with it in your jersey pocket. That would save a few hundred grams.
