Dry Chain lube.
WHat do you mean you wear out a pedal body every 3 months?
I have been using mine for 2 years and they are still AOK.
If you are wearing out a pedal in 3 months you need to go and find out what is doing it (and I dont think it is the lube).

This is the best stuff I've used, it dries into a light wax and keeps quite clean.Baalzamon wrote:I too am looking for a dry lube for speedplay cleats

I'd also fit the SS wear shim, seems to make the bodies last longer... as long as you keep it all clean. I have a teflon spray I use infrequently.
I blame speedplay - the bow-tie on the top should have been bigger to protect the inner/outer ends of the pedal body rather than it being sacrificial. But they make a lot of money on replacement pedal sets.
PS - If anyone wants new unused CrMo shafts, I have a ton of them, as I buy the CrMo pedals and strip them for the bodies to go on my longer SS shafts.

I ride, therefore I am. But don't ride into harm's way.
