I was very very sad to hear that this person , whom I do not know , was tragically killed last weekend whilst training in his endeavour to raise money for a 4,000 km charity ride to Darwin. I would just like to re post the link to his charity raising page, please at least consider donating even $1 ....so that he didn't die "totally" in vain ( of course his and any death by any definition would always be in vain ) . If you cycle on the road , this could have been "you " ( heaven forbid of course )... The original thread has been closed for the usual reasons, I hope it is acceptable to post this to raise awareness of the REASON this fellow was "IN THAT PLACE , AT THAT TIME - IT WAS "FOR OTHERS " so this hits a chord for me in so many ways.....
If I were to be collected in a MVA , I would smile down from heaven ( err.. or up from...?? ) to those who kept my legacy alive...
here is the link..

Thank you for reporting... Will be supporting his cause in honour of his efforts and those he leaves behind...
Loving my Merida's and working towards adding a Pinarello to the stable... Go go go...

Heartening to see that donations have gone from approx $1,500 to over $35,000 in the space of 4 days - and climbing.
I believe they are still going to complete the ride using different riders in a relay style. Hope this can go ahead.

$71,377.00 AUD as of today. I really don't understand why it is so important to me that the target is reached ? But my gut tells me it is ,I think it is a Karma thing so forgive the "bump"
