In recent threads in the lounge, it was mentioned that maybe I should speak to you, about having a section on Buyers guide and Maintenance guide. Done as a closed forum so it becomes a permanent point of reference on the site. It's just there is such a wealth of information from the members, it would'nt be too hard to set up.
I just thought if there was a permant guide on the site then Newbies like what I was, could get tips etc. certainly with the maintenance side of things too.??
Buyers guide, and Maintenance guide.

Maybe a sticky thread at the top of each forum topic for tips. I've done it with my forums, and I stole the idea from somewhere else.
The best tips could be moved into there maybe.

Yes, a similar thought occurred to me.
What about a section GUIDES.
This could have single WIKI style posts that are editable by all users (registered) and would evolve over time with the combined input/knowledge of all forum members. This require minimal setup time (only the implementation of the feature), the guides would create themselves.
