Pretty hubs pics

Postby hiflange » Tue Feb 26, 2013 1:23 am

Seems to me there's room for a hub photos thread.
I tripped over the Curtis Odom hubs site this evening, if you have even a passing interest in polished metal and retro styling...

I guess Rob, as a professional photographer you may have some critique of this one, by Fyxomatosis. It's a little noisy especially with all the reflected detail.... but they are oh.... soo.... shiney

They look like quality but they're not cheap, $660 odd for a set mimicking the prior swiss cheese hubs.

i have admired the ticino's for a while. if only they were native campag compatible, instead of frigging around with spacing issues..

Hi, Flange...

Chater Lea, bought for cheap on account of threads on one side being stripped, she's still super pretty

Well, these weren't cheap

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160979560332 ... 1438.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've had a pair of Chater Lea hubs like these, anodised in blue, since 50s.

They aren't common, like Airlites.

Mr Frith,
I do believe it will be remiss of you to not show a certain set of Hardens that may feature on a pretty blue lugless steed in your possession, Sir.... :)
