After all the humidity and wind this morning was excellent. A little chilly when I got up at 530, blue sky and hardly any wind. Loved it.

Trigg bush land fire smoke didn't get a whiff until last minute of ride after turning up my street and seeing right in the path down wind of it :(
Had a fever yesterday and chesty cough today so feel for anyone who had to climb hills through it.

Found my early morning 4:46am start rather lovely and still, compared to my regular afternoon 30-40km winds with 50km gust rides

Yes the wind has been a bit of a birch in the arvo of late. Well starting from Saturday we'll also have mid to high 30's to be happy about :)

Had a good view of helicopter filling up with water on the ride home yesterday. Fantastic machine. Shame about the fire.

Does life get any better than the past few mornings for riding?

It was magic this morning with the full moon shining on the sea. Very special.
Very glad to be out riding.

Twas a bit fresh this morning. My breath was taken away when I saw a hairy machine pedalling south around the old North Beach caravan park wearing only a pair of footy shorts at about 6.00am this morning. Does anyone else see this bloke? Apparently regularly pedals along Wanneroo rd near Green St still only wearing footy shorts.

I couldn't wear the clear safety glasses because they just f'd up in the f'g. No injuries sustained, hopefully some good footage, used the bike with Roam2 camera on it as a commercial VHS cameraman experience shouldering it to take panorama footage from the boardwalk.

CBD was covered with loads of low cloud, looked more like some tropical asian city than little old Perth. Nice riding weather even if a bit humid and sweaty.

I cycled this afternoon and was coming down majestic hill in applecross when my breaks didn't work due to the wet weather. I came off and am now very scratched up and bruised. Do you all have different breaks? Or is my bike a dud..
