He's a student who collects a bit of bicycle exotica. Good to see such a young guy interested. I like buying off him, my sister lives over the road.

'Don't know the guy' = 'I'm not pushing one of my mate's eBay sales'.

Has some good stuff, I agree.

I'm quite intrigued by this MS 2 star, would be keen on it if it had stayed lower:

I call this optimistic http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... ink:top:en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , but if it sells, I'll expedite the sale of a spare 979 I have hanging in the shed.

Not sure I'd be rubbing my hands together yet, I'd still want at least double what it's at now.

It's difficult to go past a custom bike like this, when looking for quality http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/parkinso ... 1014775430 It is somewhat disappointing that accessories are not included.

I'd have given him double if he hadn't slopped ceiling white all over the poor thing.

That's no gas pipe, they're cromo, and if i wasn't downsizing in a big way (and if it was my size) i'd love a Univega Conquest.

This looks tempting. It could be a Yamaguchi or some other Japanese frame builder. Was Tange the only aero tube manufacturer? Some nice bits on it as well.

Ewww, that breaks so may of The Rules that it should just be loaded into a compactor and converted into a door stop. It's hideous. The owner clearly has no sense of asthetics at all.
