Was prepared to ride, but the rain stopped me. My revised commuter isn't done yet, and no guards on the current one. Didn't want a stripe up the back/shorts/backpack today.

Left early today to try and knock over a few extra kms and register my interest on some Strava leaderboards, and the wind just made that an obviously bad idea. Still got 3 pumping laps of Parramatta Park, but had some epic slow river runs for the rest of the commute

Heck - a bit windy tonight!!

Still got in a short ride to blow away the cobwebs and get the legs moving again properly.

I went pretty slowly around some pedestrians but I did hammer along a bit later on. 45km/h for about 1km not bad. Slowed it down after that, didn't want to get too sweaty - the leg still isn't healed up totally.

Edit: Raining heavy this morning! (23 February). I'm not going anywhere in that.

It's very windy here in the city, hopefully it's a bit more calm this afternoon.

I'm intending to do the same as Xplora - I'm attempting to regain one of mine which I thought would be safe for a while! I didn't think that 4 seconds faster would be beaten by 2 seconds.

So true - sunrise this morning was just wow - sure was glad to be alive to see it.

Enjoyed the ride in whilst taking it easy - will need to drop the hammer down tonight to get to swimming, as my no.3 kid is bringing a friend who is not the strongest swimmer. Having 4 kids to watch in the water requires both mrs westab and I.

Should be fun.
