nice today, but yesterday was just ugly, was testing new bikes out and pouring sweat. thanks to the guys at TBSM being ready with a glass of water each time I came back

I want to ride at the track today but it's probably going to be too wet. Augh I'm so sick of rain, all I want to do is go for a ride on a nice clear day for once, it's been wet every weekend for a while now.

Now I have to clean the bike. It looks like it has three years of dirt and mud all over it.

I got pretty lucky this weekend - was commuting to Manly for a conference this weekend & had pretty good weather both days. A bit damp Sarurday but nice & cool while today was just glorious. If I had been earlier or later though I might have got drenched.

Got out for a bit of a thrash around iron cove bay this arvo, super strong wind and lots of pedestrian clutter made it less nice though. Looking like the next few days will be good for commuting at least.

It was slightly windy this afternoon out west, but nothing too bad. It was actually pretty nice weather, no rain for a change.

Only problem is I don't have much speed at the moment, heart rate goes too high. I'm struggling to get back to where I was. Off to another doctor for me. I have no idea why there is still swelling left over in my right leg. Everything else is mended and healed up.

Last few days have just been great - it is hard to get up in the morning but the ride to work has been fun.

This morning just didn't want to stop - a day riding would have been just great. Unfortunately there are bills to pay.

Fortunately I get to ride home tonight.

Lovely morning for a ride, weather seems to just be getting better. Little humid.

Nice and dry out here in the western suburbs this morning, not a touch of damp on the roads so did a good loop out to Rhodes from Guildford West. It would be nice to have that mangrove boardwalk on the north bank of the Parramatta River go all the way through to Parra to save having to cross back over at the Silverwater Bridge.

Here is a ride i did earlier in the week, you can get back to Parramatta on the North side, with a few little detours off then back onto the cycleway.Tim

Thanks for that, i shall give it a go the next time. I once crossed over that pipeline bridge into Camelia where you have to wheel your bike up and down the steep steps. Riding through Camelia even on an early saturday morning was like riding through hell with still many truck movements and a truly abominable road surface.

Started out dry, then wet through Redfern to Matraville. Drying out till Queen's Park then wet to Surry Hills.

a worrying couple of drops of rain on the drive out to old man's valley, perfect weather for 90 minutes of riding, then poured rain as I got back to the car. sometimes things work out just perfectly for the ride
