Over 1,000 cyclists from around the globe will unite to take on one of the world’s toughest and most picturesque cycling events, Bicycle Network’s SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge on Sunday 10 March 2013.
The 235km loop course can be compared to a Tour de France mountain stage, with 3 major climbs: Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Falls Creek, via Omeo.
Not just one to tick off the bucket list, the SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge is a yearly test for all cyclists.
Time is a key element of the event, as cyclists have to complete the course within a 13 hour time limit to claim the coveted title of ‘Finisher’ and the jersey that comes along with it.

When: Sunday 10 March 2013
Where: Start & Finish at Falls Creek, Victoria
Why: Bicycle Network Victoria’s ultimate one day ride provides cyclists with a ‘European Style’ road cycling event.
Who: Over 1,000 Australian and International cyclists
How: A fully supported 235km loop of road cycling, with three major climbs – Tawonga Gap, Mt Hotham, Falls

for a real challenge, come and do the ACE 250 on the same course* in the burning heat of summer

Although great strides have been made with repairs to the road up Mt Hotham, we have determined that this route will not be fit for use during the SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge.
Therefore the decision has been made to adopt the alternative route via Mt Buffalo—that we mentioned to you as an option earlier this month.
