I think a half resto AK - it looks tidy enough as a frame. Clean up the chrome, a light cut and polish and done. Jog my memory, but where have I seen this before?dubrat wrote: Just gotta decide whether to do a resto on e frame or keep it OG like I always do....

There must be more Colnago's stashed away in other forum members sheds - lets see them.

I ran out of junk to put behind the bike! Old paint tins should be the focal point.

Thanks stevendavid75. I admired the frame in DeGrandi's for a couple of years then I was made an offer I couldn't refuse. I just fell in love with the 'Italian' theme paint scheme on the frame which I have never seen on another Colnago. I had a 50th Anniversary gruppo so I but the 2 together with a few special bits and pieces. It really has only been ridden around the block about 5 times due to the groupeset. The saddle is a Campy pneumatic 'Electra' which are going for a small fortune on ebay at the moment - $1500+ which is just ridiculous. I have never inflated the saddle either.stevendavid75 wrote:Gary, that conic would have to be one of the best looking bikes I have seen, well done !!
It's my special bike as it has practically all I ever wished for in a bike. I'd still like an OMAS fastener set to finish it off.

That's one special bike and it is coming together very nicely indeed. It will be interesting if you can get a nice line on the rear brake cable. I haven't seen the delta's fitted to a CX before.dubrat wrote:Group sort for the CX Oval.... Checking what it looks like prior to proper build... I think it works...

Just putting it out there that I'm looking to join this club some time. I'm on the lookout for a frame (53-55cm). If anyone's ever looking to move one on I'd be interested to talk.
