Mine fitted perfectly but the bath tub chassis took a while to get used to.
Good shoe tho.

I have a pair of specialized carbons and bought the s works due to price the other day.

They are night and day.

Fit like a glove.

somone on this forum suggested loosening them a tad, something to try before spending big bucks or mucking around with adjustment/positions etc.

worked for me.

When I molded my Vaypor I put 3 pairs of socks and did the straps super tight.
I avoided any areas of rubbing and tightness that way.

Hey guys, just a short update on where I'm at.

Went out yesterday to make a round of the local LBSs to get a feel of what's out there. And I blew my wad on the first shop where I found the Spez 2012 swork on runout! Got it for 299, not as good as WA or QLD. But still, can't wait to try it out :)

Didn't mange to try the Bont first as most shops stocking it seem to be closed. Ah well, hopefully it won't proved to be an expensive mistake.

A late post, but in my research on the Bont Vapor+ came across this thread. I have owned three models of the S-Works, the most recent being the 2012. Each model has been an improvement on the last, and once you have used a BOa system or similar it is a noticeable step back to ratchet/strap/ Velcro. The S-Works are great shoes but the soles are very stiff, and have been getting stiffer each year . A mate upgraded from the 2011 model to the 2013 model and was at the point of eBaying the 2013 model because the soles were too stiff for him. He persisted, and now loves them. Only problem with the S Works, and it has happened to all three versions I have had, is my left sole has cracked (and so it becomes soft, like a Dunlop Volley...) after about 15 months of hard training and racing. Not a gripe, just a service life issue. I am 109kg and have 48 lengths feet, and tend to put only my left foot down, so perhaps it will not be an issue for others, but just wanted to identify these two issues (they are really stiff, and do fail eventually) so people can make informed choices

Update - I just ordered a new pair of S Works, in case people saw my previous post as being anti S Works. Just have to work around the service life issue, and for me a new pair of shies every year or so is not a major issue especially when I think how many hours I spend in them each week.
