Accident Thurs 7/3

Heard on the radio this morning that there was a car vs bike in the Welshpool Road area. Hope it was no one here and that they are ok.

I didn't see anything coming off roe hwy, up orrong rd, and onto welshpool rd. I did hear about an accident on the other side of roe hwy. Welshpool and lesmurdie. They didn't say what tho and I wondered then if that was bike. What ever it was, I do hope they are OK and heal up.

I believe it was on Welshpool Road, Lesmurdie.

A CYCLIST has been struck and injured in a collision with a car in Welshpool Road, Lesmurdie, in the Hills east of the city.
The collision occurred at the corner of busy Welshpool Road and Lesmurdie Road, Lesmurdie about 7.30am.
Emergency services are attending the accident and traffic became congestied in both directions. Main Roads reported it was cleared by 8.30am.
The condition of the cyclist is not known.
