I know what it is to be a midget, but it probably would,t take me 30 years to wake up that the bike is too big but its well equipped.rollin wrote:Selling because it's to big and it's 51cm...must be a midgetgrantw wrote:A cheap Pinny in Adelaide with shipping available. Points to the guy for wanting to 'pass it on'; and price realistically.

Little bit confusing this bennett....for starters they where never 2 toned. Its not "quite" the specs of a sebring , also sebrings had a decal on the downtube, I'd say its a super-sports2...?frailer5 wrote:Someone will know. These Bennetts are Sebring-related, correct? Post-Sebring, from memory. And they are most likely 4130-grade, am guessing. In pretty good shape though, for anyone in Lower Hunter.

Always loved my bennetts , noticed a mint super sports sold for $245 last week on evilbay, it wasnt worth that new !
The Bennett supersports and the sebrings where around from 1979 to mid 80s, the Viscounts where the sebrings grandfather in a way. The Sebrings are similar in spec to an apollo IV, ie shimano 600 etc....
Nevertheless the red-yellow bennett is a bargain. Cant go wrong.
