Yep. What they don't absorb they divert away from your eyes effectively.

This is such a dangerous thread to read. I've ordered 2.

+1 I was cynical so only ordered 1 which arrived a week ago but already I am in love - no more sweat dripping down into my eyes.

But it's US$12.95 each on the store with free shipping?

Yeah Halo Headbands are the ducks nuts! You can get the plain bands a little cheaper from eBay sellers, but the caps and visors are the same price and shipping is added on top of that.

I got the visor for running.

Absolutely. I'm a sweater even in winter. I've had a pair for about three years, and they only just starting letting a bit of sweat through. I had no qualms whatsoever about getting some more of the same.

I had some torpedo7 bandanas before that, and there's no comparison.

Cheers,
Simon.

Ok, makes sense now. Interestingly after a quick search on ebay it seams the bandanna is available cheaper than the headband.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet, wait until me current Cell order comes in. So...

Pros and cons VS the straight headband please? Any users are welcome to chime in.

Thanks

Well, after seeing this, I have ordered 2. I sweat a heap up here in Townsville, even at 5 in the morning. I recently tried a castelli summer headband and it works, for about 40 minutes. I ride for 2-3 hours so I hope these halo’s will be an improvement.

Any of you Halo proponents have a boofhead like mine?
Like my frames.. I need about a 60cm in a hat size. :(

I avoid the traditional cycling caps because they just look like a wet beer coaster on my skon.
