A truck took a liking to the Bianchi Alu/hydro while it was on the bike rack today and it is no longer with us.
Dealing with the issue but all rides for a while will be either on the SS MTB or the Infinito.

No good at all mate - hope you find a replacement soon enough.

I managed to clock 2000Km for the year over tonight and the ride felt very good. I've got the Murray to Moyne in a couple of weeks and should see around 200-300Km, I'm led to believe, over the duration.

cheers

Is that a parking type rack or one on the car? Hope it's not too much hassle getting it sorted out and paid for Graham.

I've posted up a bit of a ride report of the Oppy on my self indulgent blog, at least the bits I can remember. There's also a nice photo of the opera house :)

Probably not the place for this but:

Went for a ride this morning and the lead guy who was 100m ahead went around a tight corner (At end of Moss Vale bike track under the bridge) and ended up off the track, down a ditch and into a barbed wire fence. Not too much damage luckily but we needed to check that he didn't have concussion.

I am in front of the triangle, which means Strava must count home trainer rides.

The triangle is invisible to me.

I don't know whether it was David S. of gauntlet fame who gave a report on progress each week for the 6K club. Maybe in the absence of our signatures someone could take that on?

I had almost caught the triangle but a slow week sees me slip a couple of km more behind :(

Absolutely lovely day for a ride today. Fronted up and got absolutely smashed, carved up, spat out and rolled through the dirt (started to come unhitched after a few 100m  ). Alas, there was just me (no peleton to hide in) and my companion, a new guy who joined us for the first time last week. Luckily, as Tour Director I set the course and he had to stop every now and then to check where we were headed-it gave me a chance to catch up.

It wasn't all that bad, I am giving away about 25 years and probably almost as many kg   and he is off to the National Championships for the Para Cycling in a few weeks; at least i now have 4 new PB's on Strava and a couple of third best times. :D

Note to Tour Director: less hills next time!!!

Hey, you threw the gauntlets and, after a week with no bike, you're still 100KMs behind me  I've got my new bike now so I'll be back to the normal commute next week. Bloody good thing too, a week on the trains with the trials of Myki and overcrowding and I'll be glad to be pedaling to work again.

Be nice if we can get the sigs working again. I would be behind again now but not sure how much. Must make a small spreadsheet to check this if the sig doesn't return.

really enjoying the challenge of getting the 6K in - yesterday did the bobbin head classic and then also managed to set a new ride distance record of 130km, topping my previous best of 111km - next stop the magical 150km mark!

If your heading for 150km why stop. Do a 161km and claim your first Imperial century. 100miles always sound pretty cool to me.

I knew I gonna pass my 25,000th km during the bike hike. Yep - checked at the end and the meter was on 25,006. :)

About to head out to work and add a few more.

I am pretty sure Veloviewer has sorted his issue, so Christopher should be able to turn sigs back on soon enough.
