For those who stop at Sassy's on the Swan (100m east of the belltower) - If you are there on Friday it is the owners birthday. Carron Weir.

So be sure to wish her a happy birthday. My old world concept of chivalry and ettiquette dictates that I won't say how old.

As it happens, it is also my birthday - 61 yo. So if I happen to be there having a coffee you can just leave your credit card details and I'll get my own present - a GoPro would be nice.

There's been no invite for coffee Mark... Better get to it. I'm back to Melbourne permanently in July.

Carron was not working on Friday so I had to send here a text message instead.

However, the staff at Sassys put on an apple pie with cream, ice cream and and raspberries piled on for me. Plus a sparkler. Crowded around for a verse of Happy Birthday and hugs all around.

Not feeling too old. Fingers crossed for the rest of the year.
