Winners of the International Bike Design Competition announc

Postby clackers » Wed Mar 27, 2013 9:01 am

"A thumb-operated hydraulic brake system, a rear light which projects onto the rider’s back to maximise visibility and a bamboo transporter bike for isolated communities were among 10 prize-winning design concepts celebrated at the International Bike Design Competition on Tuesday."

Some things you may not see at your LBS this Christmas ...

I see something similar to this at the fruit and veg markets every Saturday, but with bits of wood rather than bamboo.

Opens up all sorts of advertising possibilities, Warthog ... "Back off a metre, Warney!" on the jersey courtesy of TAC, "This junk in the trunk made possible by KFC" on the bib shorts, etc.
