All,
I'am looking for recommendations for atleast 20KMS routes somewhere close to Maidstone/Maribyrnong, needs to be fairly flat.
I know Avondale Heights is no where that.
Also with fairly minimal traffic and decent road - hate Ballarat Road.
I will be starting weekend riding soon and except for a ride the Williamstown, I do not have any other routes.
PS- Something like Beach Road would be Awesome
Appreciate all your recommendations.

The Strand is a bit Beach Road like. The Federation Trail will take you out as far as Werribee if you like. The Western Ring Road will also let you build up your k's, road work permitting.

Western Ring road path is good then out , then Left at Brimbank park to Tullamarine (Back of the airport will test you, but nice hills and scenery) and back via Moonee Ponds Bike path.
My fave is Willi,Altona, Point Cook/ Sanctuary Cove, Werribee South ( Market garden areas remind me of France), Werribee back beach ( nicer views than beach road) then back along the Federation Trail. Way over 20kms but fun anyways.
Happy to meet for a ride on the weekend (I get up early though)

Kunal
Around 20 to 30 kph. not super fast but prefer to get in a rhythm and I'm no pro by any sense of the word. Starting riding to work ( as its the only way i can get there) 3 years ago and haven't stopped . I'm no lightweight but I'm not huge either.

First time post here... long time reader.
I'm new to the cycling community and have just bought my first proper road bike which I took out for it's first ride yesterday morning. Start and Finish in Sunshine and the route is 95% cycle paths which is handy.
