Help identifying a Speedwell frame

I was given a Speedwell frame recently. I suspect it in one of the later post Malvern Star sale models, but just wondering if anyone is able to help me identify which model it is and roughly when it was made?

If any of the parts are shimano, they will have a date stamp 2 letters?..
I'd say mid 70s hi tensile

The faded sticker on the top tube was more than likely the model name. In the 70's Speedwell used quite a few model names including GENTS SPORTS,
SUPER SPORTS, SPECIAL SPORTS and FLASH.

One of the shimano parts has a stamp of CF. Does that mean anything to anyone?

I expected that the faded decal might be the model name. All I can make out on it is that the second last letter is an A. I will see if I can figure out any more. Thanks again for the help!

Wrong way round, the year is first so CF is 1978, June

as you've found its a later "70's frame, Asian made (cheapie) these are not a badly made frame just lower end and not Australian. Speedwell never had anything to do with MS nor the other way around, they both sold out at different times to another greedy company without love for anything 'çept profit.

Thanks everyone for your responses and your help. So my next question, do you recon it is worth doing it up? By the sounds of it, there is no point trying to restore it to original. Perhaps there is sufficient reason to so it up to be a good bike just for the sake of riding it though. I have most of the parts anyway I think. And now that I know it is a cheapie, I wouldn't feel too bad painting it a fun colour and losing the decals. Anyone have any thoughts?

worth it? not to make a profit but for fun and your own enjoyment go for it!
