Oh and I stumbled across this;
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Vintage-1991 ... 022wt_1037" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Now I know nice old Cromo MTB's appeal to some collectors, but I think these guys have been smoking some of Jamaica's finest.

Definitely running Campagnolo parts. The parts look like Triomphe or maybe Victory. Good underrated stuff. Wish it was in Brissie. I'd be buying it for the parts. The frame is stuffed based on the massive dent in the headtube.HappyHumber wrote:Serious doubts about the Campagnolo branding... but a few curious bits visible from the craptastic pics

So I guess, other than the shift levers, the majority of the bike is out fitted with Campagnolo Triomphe parts.

Maybe if it came with Gary Fisher himself as your personal mechanic, but even then it's a bit steep.

the elite rs is tange 1, which is very good quality - better than your garden variety 80s boom bikes. i don't know much about your carbon bike.

There was some, ahem, discussion some time back about whether posts were spoiling other members' chances, but the jury came down for 'freedom of information'. :cheesy: This thread will go forever.axeman74 wrote:Haven't been watching this thread much, but surely this is the longest thread in BNA forum history?

On balance, I think more members have been alerted to (missed) prospects in their neck of the woods, than have others' been spoiled. Harmless fun, really, is all.

Most of us are buyers on the eternal hunt for the holy grail aren't we? (mine's now an $50 Alan with full 50th Campag - lucky bastards, sob, sob) I reckon this thread helps a lot of us learn more about the wonderful diversity of bicycles because it covers everyone's tastes.
There's so much variety it's become the first point of call for me every day.

Tried to fix my link, but go with the one above. I bought a rideable 3spd dragster a while back for $50ish with al original parts (and a fair bit of chrome pitting). How can this one be at $46 already, there is no banana seat or sissy bar and the BB is surely siezed.HappyHumber wrote:A bit of pfaffing around, and I got it from the item number; item 261196456541
