Hi,
With electing Barnett in for another term I was under the impression that the PSP between Perth and Balcatta would be upgraded. Does anyone know if/when this is going to happen?
Also with the extra lane being constructed around Vincent st does anyone know if there will be a path on that side of the freeway.
Cheers

1. PSP through to Balcatta is not a priority project for DoT in the WA Bike Plan.
2. PSP on western side of Freeway is not part of the freeway widening project scope.

The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.

From earlier topic on WA elections -
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=58730&start=25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Liberals promised if re-elected funds for:
1) Kwinana Freeway (Narrows Bridge to Mount Henry Bridge - widening of the existing path at selected locations
2) Perth to Freeway railway line - new path and grade seperation from Grant Street to Fremantle
3) Glendalough to Balcatta to Mitchell Freeway
4) Completion of the Bassendean to Midland station section of Perth-Midland path
The above is based on 'A Liberal Government, if re-elected'.
Try contacting Minster of Transport and request when the funds will be made available for the Balcatta section. They were re-elected so time to deliver.
