Less dirt shows on them, less material for washing :P
But I'd rather wash the dirt out of my socks than my leg hair!
You have to wash leg hair out of your socks? What kind of simian are you?

Why do you say that? Seriously considering signing up today (they re-opened the entry form until 5pm)...only other ride on that day is the Beechworth Gran Fondo which is even more expensive and doesn't come with a jersey (could use another one!).

Hi my name is Mark and I have spent SIGNIFICANT amounts of time worrying about my sock length. (For the record I'm not all happy with my current length).

Please help me

Black for me. But the anklet cut is so low on them you can barely see at all!

I'm for any kit so long as its comfy.. though I do prefer matching my jersey/knicks most times - depends on if I've done my washing or not (undomesticated <30 male)

I wear nice BLACK business socks on my rides to/from work too :)

The only thing that gives raises my eyebrows and makes me tut-tut to myself is the occasional Australian Champions jersey I've seen folk wear about from time to time. Pro-tour team kit - go for your life - A team you support or liked back in the day is just like any other sportsfan - but the national champ's jersey is something that is earned, not bought from rebel sport.

My fave pair is Black, Low Ankle Cut. Ritchey ones :) So low, you can only just see the black.
