nickl - I like it a lot as well. Really the best colours I've seen on a bike for ages. The one in Adelaide isn't me though, I'm NSW.

Edit: The thing is fast! It really moves. It's not perfect though, the saddle is slightly too high. But it is actually really smooth to ride, feels like a Rolls Royce in comparison with my Trek. Except that it is incredibly quick. I had to ask someone else what speed they were doing just in case the Garmin wasn't telling me the right thing! Moving along at 38km/h seemed quite effortless. The Di2 isn't quite second nature for me yet, but I'm getting used to it.

As for lights and aero posts, my mate used a zip tie for his. Maybe use some leccy tape to not scratch the post, also helps give it some friction so it wont slide up/down.

Fits my Planet X which has an aero seat post that is fatter/more aero than most TT bike down tubes.

+1 for the fibre flares. I usually whack a couple of them on the bike whenever the weather happens to be particularly apocalyptic outside.

I ended up with this HK made light with the name Comet. Very bright and narrow strip like arrangement. It sits in nicely behind the seat post. It has a rubber like elastic thing to hold it in place.

I've owned it for just under a year now, and I'm very pleased with it so far!

My only real complaint would be that the supplied seat post was actually pretty crummy. The seat angle is set/maintained using interlocking teeth between the seat post / seat clamp, but these became damaged/worn out really quickly, and then the seat angle just wouldn't stay locked in properly. For the cost of having to replace a seat post, it's still one hell of a buy though IMHO!



EDIT: Oh ... they also list it as a carbon seat post on their spec sheet, but that's a bit of BS as well. It's actually just a "carbon wrapped" aluminium post.

FYI that stem is carbon fibre. Its chunky but the 120mm weights only 140gms.

Very nice and very light. And I'm quite liking that Giant Sydney store, that's where mine came from.

Mine is below 7kg as well - but damn, yours is very light - and could get lighter still.

I like that paint job the best of any I've seen of the 2013 bikes.
Make sure the topcap nut is placed in the correct spot in the steerer with all those spacers above the stem. Carbon steerers need an expanding heaset plug, or the supplied glue in one, placed in the steerer where the stem applies clamping force.

In other news, I grabbed a set of Fulcrum R3s from the 'bay a while back. They roll exceptionally well and the bike dropped over a Kilogram from when it was shod with Comos (the Mavics went early as they are not suitable for my statuesque appearance). I love the Comos, but they are blardy heavy - bulletproof though!
