Munga, have you prepared a list of approved topics for discussion and packed a sound level meter to ensure you are not unduly disturbing the residents ?

Helmet wrapped in tin foil is punishment enough.

Nice quiet ride this morning, no explicit conversation was detected.
Good turn out with a few new faces. No incidents to report, well maybe a slightly loose bottom bracket on Chesini.

Apart from us, riverloop was not overly busy this morning.
Might mention that riverloop is in relatively poor condition at the moment, eg. roadworks on Lambert Rd, also the north laneway onto Jack Pesch bridge is a dog's breakfast.

Also there has been a revision of the intersection at Hargreave Avenue and Leybourne street to make it more bicycle-unfriendly
I would love to know if there was any liason with cyclists on this one.

I looked hard for the new "keep quiet" signs at Yeronga but i could not see them.
Oh and the traffic signals at the South brisbane roundabout do not change for bikes - even heavy steel ones

Thanks guys for guiding me around a maze of bikeways, roads and bridges. I thought it was busy but am told it was not. I can assure you that the Gold Coast ride has less traffic and people. Big packs of bikes but they pull us or me along. Thankyou for the ice tea and coffee, its my shout when you come down. The Chesini will take a rest until I get the tool to remove the crank and find out why the drive side cup keeps undoing. At least it lasted for the 32 kms we did.

Thanks very much chaps for a most enjoyable morning and for being so welcoming.

Apologies for making the back of the line of all your lovely bikes look rather tatty.

If anyone else was considering tagging along with the retro crew but wasn't sure....do yourself a favour and get along. They're all friendly and will look after you.
