55 is considered senior by many. I think you can get a senior's card at 55. As much as many would like to think 45 is the new 35, middle age is actually 45 according to the link below.

And since this is the first time I remember posting in one of your silly threads, do you make those names up or are they just changed to protect friends in real life?

What do you think.
Being as I am in the sixties, then of course I am gonna agree.

However you might then need to explain why, when I am only in my middle age, I am afflicted with arthritis, lumbago, gout, age-onset diabetes, brittle bones and incontinence. :?
That is too much information, the incontinece is a worry.
I know you are kidding.

Helps if you spell Autism correctly. :P

Yes I've done the Autism test and don't have it. I'm technically not an engineer. So if I'm not the strange one, where does that leave you? Do you think it will get to 16 pages? Just asking.

But this thread is about "Flobbya" and "Hormona", so I'll let you get back to it.

Yes Autism, I should know .
as for the thread, no it will never get to 16 pages as it just dies out.

FYI, about the names of my friends, well only one of the names is real but from a Previous thread. I wonder if you can guess which one.

I think I prefer to believe there's not just one middle age more a series of middle ages... That gives me a few hundred years ;-) (476-1453)

Yes, thin nicks plus light from the correct angle can be quite enlightening. Although sometimes the screams of "My eyes! My eyes!" can be distracting.

Middle age, schmiddle age. It's all about kicking the ass of those young punks.
That is, anyone younger than 60+ something.

Strength has never been a problem notwithstanding a series of tendons and bones parting company in recent years. Even in my sixties I'm the one that gets asked first when a fridge of piano needs moving or some railway sleepers need to be put into the ground. A little resistance training and lots of activity goes a long way to determining strength and stamina.

But mostly it's a state of mind more than strength or health. I notice that my less than healthy family and friends in the 50's and 60's are the ones that don't run out of puff at busy bees and home improvements. Actually we DO run out of puff. It's just that while the under 30's head to the fridge and the chair as they get a bit tired, we oldies just push on regardless. Many kids haven't worked out that when a job needs finishing and it has a deadline slowing down is not a option.

As long as it does not require running...

Yeah. My fault, my hijack. An unintended moment of seriousness.

But it won't happen again. Apple's status is of far more interest I agree.

Well the old girls and I are going for an Anzac ride tomorrow.
We are all having a glass of red and are trying t decide what colour Lycra we should wear.

Flobbya wants to wear white and look like nurses on Bikes.

Hormona wants to look like women that wear sensible shoes ( if you know what I mean) not that there is anything wrong with that.
I just want to wear some nice Lycra an be an individual :?

Maybe I should go along with it, who knows maybeFlobbya got new Lycra which holds her in

So who is Riding on this beautiful Anzac day, I think we should all wear Rosemary :D

At least I'm not dumb enough to overtake attractive bottoms in front. I still can't believe you did that.
