Hmmmm, I had a '52 small oval chopper. Saw it on the street a couple of months ago. Still going strong.

Not a bad ride!
Pity about the weather, but that's the way it goes sometimes. At least we had a nice coffee, hot banana bread, and a great conversation. Looking forward to the next one! hope the weather is better, and some of you Brissy boys can make it!
PS what's happening with the Noosa L Eroica? I heard they changed the name.

Terry from Storm Cycles has just picked up an 80's Clamont, KenEvans frame, (both Ozzi), 80's Raliegh, two track frames (unknown heritage) and a cluster of campi and suntour wheels. Have a look at them after the Retro Ride next Saturday.

I think the frame is 56. Base colour white with red and blue hilights on each lug. Looks more Italian than English. Give Terry a ring. You can look at all the bikes on Saturday.

What a beautiful day on the Gold Coast. Four intrepid riders on one Australian bike and three Italisn bikes. Berretto, Gitane, Benotto and Chesini. From Tugun, down through Banora back to Cooli for coffee and finish at Storm cycles to look at all Terrys toys. Thanks to Tony and Wal for coming down for the ride. Next ride 1st June. Probably up Currumbin Valley to the Rock Pools for a quick swim and then back to Tugun.

Gitane is French isn't it?
Thanks Harcs for a good ride. Looking forward to coming down again. Up to the pools would be good - perhaps a little earlier in the morning.
Good one.

Kingscliff is 40 kms. Murwillumba 80 kms. Kingscliff via Tumbulgum 60kms.
Murwillumba and Tumbulgum have approx 9 kms of average 5% in one stretch. Lets hear what you think.
