bike hire Passo dello Stelvio, Italy
Postby marshmallow » Thu Feb 07, 2013 5:02 pm
I'm wanting to hire a road bike to do the Passo dello Stelvio in Italy. Does anyone have suggestions where I can do this? The Bormio websites aren't very helpful.

Italy has many bike hotels and they often have hire bikes. Try the Hotel Funivia. Bike hire rates here.

I can recommend these guys - rented from them last September...
Coppi carbon bike with either Ultegra or Dura-ace - Compact cranks and a mountain friendly cassette. Took my own pedals, shoes, saddlebag and helmet. ~AU$100 for two days hire.
Just make sure you book early to get a bike in your size.
