Looking for Clothing shops in Brisbane

Postby brett.hooker » Tue Apr 30, 2013 7:42 pm

Can anyone recommend shops in Brisbane, inner north preferred, who stock a good range of cycling clothing?

I am looking for long sleeve jerseys and bib nicks in a "larger" size.

My LBS has some, but only a very small range.

Epic Cycles (Milton) always have a fairly wide range of cycle wear as does Planet Cycles (East Brisbane near the Gaba)just over the Story Bridge.

As above Ashgrove Cycles has a good range of MTB clothing & some roadie gear.

If you want pure road gear & don't mind paying a little more for it Velo at Windsor & SemiRacer at Albion stock some of the best brands, but at a premium price. The average pair of bib nicks (Pearizumi, Geordana, Santini, Champion systems) will be upward of $200 & Jerseys $100+.
Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

Will check them out!

Velo is up the road and I don't need too much of an excuse... :-) I am putting tons of miles in, so quality gear is a good investment.

Was going to suggest Velo. i have bought 'retail' bibs and jerseys there, and very happy to. Their riders gear is great quality, retro looking, and i find all the staff there brilliant. From the owners, to the tech staff that also 'man' ('woman') the floors to the young sales staff. Always had great experiences.
Started buying the kids bikes there when Velo were at Grange years ago, and.... as long as their service continues, will continue to buy and have bikes services there.

They have a Colnago Master in red hanging there that has my name on it too, so maybe.............

Dont think youll be disappointed with time spent there Brett.
